Techion is provided as a tool for interacting with user-configured Technitium DNS servers. You are responsible for how you use the app and for any changes made through it.

Subject to these terms and any applicable App Store rules, Techion grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the app on Apple-branded products that you own or control, solely as permitted by the App Store Terms of Service and Apple’s Usage Rules.

You may not copy, modify, reverse engineer, redistribute, resell, or use Techion except as expressly permitted by applicable law or these terms.

Techion is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. Techion does not guarantee that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that results obtained through its use will be accurate or reliable.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Techion LLC and its developer are not liable for any damages or losses arising out of or relating to the app, including but not limited to:

• Misconfiguration of DNS settings
• Service interruptions or downtime
• Data loss
• Network, routing, or connectivity issues
• Incorrect, incomplete, blocked, or unexpected DNS results
• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages

This limitation applies even if Techion has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event shall Techion LLC or its developer be liable for any claim, damages, or other liability, whether in an action of contract, tort, or otherwise, arising from, out of, or in connection with the app or the use or other dealings in the app.

You are solely responsible for:

• Your Technitium DNS server configuration
• Any actions performed through the app
• Maintaining the security of your credentials and devices
• Reviewing changes before applying them to your server

Techion acts as an interface to your Technitium DNS server. While most actions are performed at your direction, the app may automatically make requests necessary for functionality, such as retrieving server status, logs, and configuration data. Techion does not independently modify your server configuration without user-initiated actions.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, you agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Techion LLC and its developer from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys’ fees and court costs, arising out of or relating to your use of the app, your violation of these terms, your misuse of the app, or your violation of any law or the rights of any third party.

Techion interacts directly with your configured Technitium DNS server. That server may, in turn, communicate with upstream DNS providers or other external services based on your configuration. Techion is not responsible for how Technitium interprets or executes requests, nor for the behavior, availability, security, or data handling of any external services.

Techion may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time with or without notice. In the event of discontinuation or removal from the App Store, continued access to the app will depend on Apple’s policies and your device. Techion does not guarantee ongoing availability or functionality after discontinuation. The app is designed to operate independently where possible, but no assurances are made regarding continued operation.

These terms may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the app after any changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.

If you access or download Techion through the Apple App Store, you agree to comply with Apple’s applicable terms and Usage Rules.

These terms are between you and Techion LLC, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app, its content, maintenance, support, or claims except where required by law.

Techion LLC, not Apple, is responsible for any maintenance, support, and claims relating to the app, including product liability, legal compliance, and intellectual property claims, to the extent required by law. If the app fails to conform to a warranty that cannot be disclaimed under applicable law, you may notify Apple, and Apple may refund the purchase price paid for the app, if any. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apple has no other warranty obligation with respect to the app.

You agree not to use, export, or re-export Techion except as permitted by United States law and the laws of the jurisdiction in which the app was obtained.

These terms remain in effect until terminated. Your rights under these terms will terminate automatically if you fail to comply with them.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, these terms are governed by the laws of the state in which Techion LLC is organized, excluding its conflict of law rules. If any provision of these terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will remain in full force and effect. These terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Techion LLC regarding the app, except where Apple’s applicable terms are required to apply.
